Abstract

Plagiarism is a form of academic malpractice, which involves cheating in examinations, result fabrication, replication, and false affirmation (Park, 2004). Plagiarism is defined as "the theft of words or ideas, beyond what would normally be regarded as general knowledge‟ (Park, 2003, p.472). Academic dishonesty prevalence in University is a sensitive topic area; however it is an extremely important one, as students can create an unfair advantage through being dishonest.
